- The 3M™ Scotchcast™ LVI-2 Series feature 3M™ Scotchcast™ Electrical Insulatin Resin 40 which is a high quality two part polyurethane compound designed for electrical insulation and mechanical protection
- Other separate kits include the 3M™ Scotchcast™ LVI-3 and LVI-3-IC Series which have an express two part mould body and feature 3M™ Scotchcast™ Insulating Resin 1402FR which is a flame retardant,halogen free and remains virtually inaffected by immersion in hydrocarbons and chemical solvents. The main difference between these two types of kits is that the , LVI-3-IC is specifically created for instrumentation control cable types
