  • 3M Auckland making the most of Work Your Way

    October 14, 2022

    • In mid-2021, 3M launched Work Your Way – a global trust-based approach that allows 3Mers to create schedules that work best for them, helping teams to work when and where they can most efficiently. Work Your way is about evolving 3M's employee experience and prioritise flexibility for all our people in new ways. As part of this new work format, 3Mers can select their preferred working style with remote, hybrid and on-site options available.

With this delivery came the chance for all 3Mers to prioritise their own personal wellbeing while maintaining work productivity and enjoying a better, more flexible work-life balance.

Almost a year after launching Work Your Way, some 3M sites have evolved to better cater to our new normal – providing more collaboration-friendly working hubs and centralised locations where teams can make on-site moments matter with 3M teams and 3M customers. As part of this, 3M’s office in Auckland was recently one of the 3M locations that has been updated to better reflect these new working styles and provide an updated environment that prioritises the Auckland team’s needs.

The newly purpose-built space provides all the necessities for maintaining connectedness, and now acts as the central hub for all divisions to make the most out of face-to-face moments.

The renovated office features open-plan working areas, a central kitchen, café-style meeting spaces and purpose-built meeting rooms that are designed to enhance collaboration and are just a few of the new enhancements our Auckland team can now enjoy.
